The River Rat Race Committee announced that this year's race will be on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
The race will start with the firing of the cannon at 1 pm! The Athol Lions are proud to sponsor this annual event again this year and will have Tee Shirts and Sweatshirts available for sale at the uptown Athol - Else Where Store. Else Where will also be the DROP OFF spot for Registrations and checks... and the on-line registrations on this site will be available soon.

5K Big Cheese Road Race sponsored by the Athol YMCA
Pre-Race Parade co-ordinated by the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce
Race Day Pancake Breakfast offered for a small fee by the North Quabbin Masons.
The annual Carnival is sponsored by our Athol DAV (Disable American Veterans)

The Friday night drawing will take place at 7 pm at the Athol Town Hall on Main Street.
